Digital Media Specialist


Balance4ward is seeking a Digital Media Specialist to join our Marketing Team in June of 2024.

Job Summary

As a Digital Media Specialist, your role will involve creating, curating, and managing content for various digital platforms. You will be responsible for developing and implementing digital marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversion. You will need to stay updated with the latest digital trends, tools, and platforms to effectively optimize content and campaigns. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive branding and messaging across all digital channels. Strong communication, creative thinking, and analytical skills are essential for success in this role.

Nodaway, Iowa

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design digital media campaigns according to business goals
  • Photography and videography
  • Coordinate and manage the creation of all digital content such as website, blogs, press releases and podcasts, infographics, videos etc.
  • Establish our web presence
  • Work to improve our brand presence
  • Maintain and manage all our social media channels
  • Suggest and implement direct marketing methods
  • Suggest strategies and methods for improvement
  • Regularly track and get insights into competitors’ strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with digital media technologies and latest trends
  • Frequent use of different programs such as Premiere Pro, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Canva

Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of digital media tools, platforms, and software for content creation, social media management, and digital advertising.

Strategic Thinking: The ability to develop and implement digital marketing strategies that align with overall business and brand objectives.

Collaboration: Willingness to work with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive digital branding and messaging

Time Management: Effective prioritization and organization of tasks to manage multiple digital media projects simultaneously.


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications or related field.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of the cattle industry preferred.
