Feedyard Operations – Paid Internship
Balance4ward is seeking a Feedyard Operations Intern for the Summer of 2024.
As a Feedyard Operations Intern you will spend your time at Balance4ward Feeders, learning several aspects of what it takes to run a successful cattle feed yard. With low stress cattle handling and comfortable living conditions, Balance4ward Feeders will teach you animal husbandry that leads to greater rate of gain. You will work hand in hand with our current team members to learn the day-to-day operations.
Location – On-Site: Nodaway, IA
Housing: Balance4ward will assist in locating housing for the duration of the summer within drivable distance of the feedyard location. Intern will be responsible for up to $200 of living expenses per month plus any extra utilities. If a home address is within drivable distance, the intern may commute.

- Experience operating equipment
