Market Analyst – Paid Internship
Balance4ward is seeking a Market Analyst Intern for the Summer of 2024.
As a Market Analyst Intern, your time at Balance4ward will be a great experience to learn about leveraging information and data to drive success for our customer base. You will gain knowledge in data analysis while focusing on livestock, grain, and cash markets. This position collaborates closely with our team of market analysts to contribute to client tracking and reporting, giving you the opportunity to refine your analytical skills and gain a deeper understanding of market dynamics in the cattle industry.
Location – On-Site: Omaha, NE
Housing: Balance4ward will assist in locating housing for the duration of the summer within drivable distance of the Omaha office location. Intern will be responsible for up to $200 of living expenses per month plus any extra utilities. If a home address is within drivable distance, the intern may commute.
What You’ll Learn:
- Tracking and delivering charting packages to stakeholders
- Performing analysis on livestock, grain, and cash markets
- Tracking and managing purchase and sales contract obligations
- Client tracking and reporting
- Tracking company placed cattle internally and externally
- Performing research on livestock, grain, and cash markets
Qualifications:
- Strong computer skills
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrates strong leadership ability
- Possesses strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Exhibits a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
- Self-directed and capable of working independently
Experience in livestock or grain industry preferred
